The real question is why I am I working on taxes in MAY? I have mended my ways since then and get them filed the minute my W2 comes in.
I also really miss the awesome Fae, Arasai and Ratonga in EQII. Coolest non-human classes EVER!

Creature creep. Somehow, as you level in a game, critters are also busily leveling in some secret lab, and that squirrel or butterfly is gonna shred you to pieces and poop on your remains.
Ahhh, the EQII Shaman Spirit Companion... I remember pushing as many Scooby Snacks... I mean, training points, as I could into mine, and he was my good friend on trips. I still ended up using a bodybag more than a pooper-scooper though.
Clearly this has not changed in 11 years... and that's all I've got to say about THAT!
Well not really, I always have more to say; never been a fan of the super sexualized and skimpy outfits, but I think I am in the minority here. I admit that I really like the way ArcheAge, known for its revealing female outfits, makes them risque on males as well. Ah, the days of the old zone tours, generally conducted by Community Managers, with some Devs thrown in for specific information. I was still in games media at the time and had a blast. EQII was well known for wiping Press groups on every tour...
Eric and I agree that the new Unrest in EQII was an example of MMOG content as art. It had glorious zone design, an intricate and challenging storyline, and it was the most fun we ever had in any MMOG, hands down. It's unfortuante that this kind of handcrafted content is so expensive to make from a personnel point of view. All the people who want MORE MORE but FREE FREE need to remember that ain't nothin' in this world for free. I'd definitely pay for more zones like this. |
