I should have known this would happen with my guild! I eventually caved in and made a Goblin Shaman... and OMG WHAT HILARIOUS FUN IT WAS! Brakk made a Black Ork and we dominated the PvP matchups (except when we didn't - we no talk bout thos dayz). I still miss Warhammer Online to this day. We kept our Dwarves on another server and had an incredible time with them too.
Warhammer Online remains one of my favorite all time games. The PvP was insanely good and the storylines for all races were incredible. The disappointment came at high levels, when the important keep raids became a horrid lesson in lag and unplayable slide-show mess. RIP Warhammer Online. I loved 90% of your game, but end game was technically impossible. MAKE IT HAPPEN AGAIN, MOAR BETTER PLEASE.

It took us some time to master Fellowship Maneuvers in LotRO. These served mostly as a sobriety test. WHO PUTS A SOBRIETY TEST IN AN MMO?
We generally called them Fellowship Manures and were happy that we mostly played in a trio, for any group or raid would throw us out pretty fast after the first few Friday night beers... OMG the name rush! The most hallowed and harrowing of all MMOG rituals!
I can guarantee that most of the text above is totally and 100% from Wren herself. Nothing gets her as salty as the name game. NOTHING. Poor, poor less-than-Wrens... Open Beta, LotRO. GOOD TIMES! The dreaded Old Forest... one of the most daunting zones in LotRO for our level at the time. As you can see, there is nothing left behind but a boot, a scrap of armor, parchment and a quill, as I run off screaming in the far distance.
I want to personally thank the cadre of guildmates and friends who carried me through that forest for HOURS on end and through multiple deaths until we got it mapped! I was honestly very sad when the Devs nerfed Old Forest a few years later. It took a lot of the dread and sheer terrorized joy out of it! This comic was done long before I had the *ahem* opportunity to return to farming. Yep, it still loses money, because there is no way that someone like me can raise eggs, meat or produce at a rate to compete against the mega-farmers. It would indeed be cheaper for me to buy at the grocery store.
I know it is a great boon to millions that food is so cheap these days. I have returned to my farming roots and will carry on until I cannot afford to do so any longer. It is possible that I can make ends meet if i can successfully make our 15-acre farm into a small cheesery, but I am about $250k shy of the capital needed. Did you know that $250k won't even buy you a top of the line tractor? I eventually hope to buy a really small one for $35k, just for cleaning barns, light fieldwork, putting in posts and hauling heavy things. Like meDwarven arse.
